Dave McKenzie Lead Trumpet Hampton, New York

Dave McKenzie, trumpet, is in his fifth decade as a professional musician.  He moved to the Killington, VT area in 1978 after beginning his career in Ohio and the Midwest where he performed with the Cincinnati Symphony , including a performance at Carnegie Hall.

Dave also enjoyed a stint with the James Brown house band, performing in New Orleans with some extremely hot bands.  (So hot, that four of the clubs he's played in have burned down!)

Dave has been in horn sections that played with such legendary groups as Martha Reeves, the Coasters, the Spinners and many others.
