Harry was raised in Clifton, NJ where in his high school years he started playing the saxophone in various small bands playing for any occasion, mostly in back rooms and halls.

Harry graduated from Seton Hall University in S. Orange, NJ and was drafted into the U.S. Army and served a year in Vietnam. After military service he played in wedding bands in Northern and Central NJ, stopping the music when he started a 30 year career in sales management with Nabisco and Keebler.

After a twenty-seven year absence and a move to Vermont in 2001 - and with time to devote - Harry started the challenging task of playing again. He had his instruments overhauled, some of which had been caught in a flood and enrolled in a local college for more music lessons and studies to get the ball rolling.

Today, along with playing in EnerJazz, Harry donates his time playing at nursing homes and volunteering at the Rutland Regional Medical Center's emergency room. He has served for four years as the Treasurer for the Lakes Region Youth Orchestra and is past president and vice president for a local snowmobile club.
